The Kettering Youth Council provides an assortment of fun and exciting social activities for you to indulge! Come for our quaterly events where you can socialize with your friends as well as make new ones!

Winter:  Chillin' @ the Rec.

- Clothes and Food Drive for needy Kettering residents, organized by the Kettering Youth Council!

- Come to KYC meetings to help us plan another HUGE event!  Check out the calendar of events to see when our next meeting is!

Spring:  Kettering Day of Service

- a day where ALL citizens of Kettering can get involved in Kettering Service!

- Youth, Adults, Teams, Businesses and Organizationsare encouraged to get involved now!!!

- We need ideas, adult and youth volunteers and materials find out how by emailing us at: pfhy@ketteringoh.org

Summer: Youth Retreat

- Where we plan the year's events, service, dates and prepare for the year ahead!

Fall:           Make a Difference Day

                               AND

         KYLA Traveling day of "Nice-ness"

- Make a Difference Day is a chance to work with the Volunteer Office to do service projects around Kettering! Check out: www.ketteringoh.org, then look up "Volunteer Services" for more info.!

- Traveling Day of "Nice-ness" is a NEW project the Kettering Youth Leadership Class of 2008 are planning! 

- They are going to be looking for mini-service projects that we can travel around Kettering to complete all in one day!  The goal is to be 'the pebble in the pond'! 

Some other events have included our annual Kettering Mayor's Tree Lighting and the Kettering Giving Tree program which give us an opportunity to reach out to the community socially. The summer brings lots of opportunities with the Community Days at the Fraze to interact with old and young people who take interest in the City and our Youth!

All of our events are welcome to ANY and ALL Kettering Youth and their friends. Check the Calendar for dates and times for all of our events.
